But what if a Saints player involved is now playing elsewhere? I can see Williams being suspended or whatever, but if you suspend a player who is now with another team, you hurt the new team. Okay, let them take the player of their choice from the Saints or have one of the Saints draft picks, but the Saints have to pay them for the year!!! :jester:

A handfull of players pooling some money together (no matter how much or little) weekly for the biggest hit of the game, owho has the most ints, or tackles or catches, etc., is one thing....to have coaches and outsiders administer cash payouts for taking opposing players out due to some kind of injury is another.

I imagine Goodell is probably gonna come down hard on all involved, especially if it goes viral.

It's not about hurting the team, it's about punishing the individuals involved. The player was involved earning the suspension just as if it were steroids or anything else. If you try to analyze beyond that, you'll drive yourself nuts. Imagine if Cam got busted for steroids, call it a second offense so he's done for a year. That puts Jimmay as our starter. Is that fair to Smitty who wasn't involved in any way?

    Tick Tock.

Just deleted a bunch of pics from my phone of the inside of vistors locker room at BOA stadium - a bunch of signs with all the rules. Everything from chinstraps to drugs to 'bountys'. Right there on the wall on a big sign in big letters.

Considering how long they've worked together, I find it hard to believe Fisher wouldn't know Williams does this. Play with fire and all that
