Anyone else played this? or playing it?

I happened across their site and found a new patch had been released so I started playing again. Got around to finishing it the other night and I have found quite a few set items.

Just looking to see if anyone else is into playing this.

    Yes the "DiabloII" wannabe.

Most everything that was buggy before has been fixed but they did introduce a couple of new problems.

Enjoy the game. Theyve fixed most of it.

A friend of mine's playing it. I'm not gonna, because I spent way too much time on Diablo II. I can't help it, the set items and unique items shit got me in. And I was in college so I had the time to be geek. So I'm not touching this one.

LOL I just got to that stage....Ive started finding tons of set items and Im trying to crest level 50.

Started the game over tonight using my built up character and everything (enemies, what merchants sell, etc) is based on your level. Cool stuff.

The game itself is kinda ehhh...the whole story is cool, but yes mags, dont get sucked in, because you will.

maybe i'll give it another go. i was playing co-op with my friend and it was just weird. lots of stuff where he couldn't move till i got near him or his horse would no longer be in his world, but it was right there in mine.

there was something about the interface that felt a little off, too...

what we need is a good diablo 3.

dungeon siege 2 is in the works, so that me good. hopefully they move away from the idea of letting the computer do all the work and sprinkle in a little more flavor. dungeon siege 1 really suffered too much subtlety -- all the items were just a little bit better than others. you never got something that was just ridiculously powerful (like you do in diablo 2). it made finding stuff sorta boring cuz it wasn't so amazing. and the add-on for it was even sillier cuz they added a "damage per 10 seconds" (or some amount of time) calculation so you could get a direct, exact computation of how a weapon performed for you. talk about robbing a game of its life. why not just add a button that automatically equips your character with the best possible set of items for facing the enemies near you?

Diablo III, I fear, we may never see. But then again, they did bring Warcraft back 10 years later. So who know. Blizzard is kooky like that. But with WOW coming out, I doubt it.

The co-op thing is pretty stupid in Sacred unless you ONLY play online against other people/friends, etc. Because you cannot take the stuff back to a single player game like you could in D2. You CAN export a character to a co-op but not vice versa. So if your buddy finds something cool for you and you create a MP game to swap shit, you cant save it back to your campaign character.

    ^My only real complaint.

They've fixed almost all the MP bugs you're talking about, and there is a new add-on called "Sacred Plus" that kinda goes along with the patch to add a few new things.

Believe me, I was one of the nerds just short of ebaying hacked armor and weapons from D2. I loved it. This is D2 with MUCH better graphics.
