Yeah. He goes out, then makes the out sign.

All I can figure is that he was pretty sure about it because it was a third srtike to end the inning, then he second guessed himself when he saw AJ running.

Anyway, if I was Soscia, I would seriously consider a little gamesmanship here and smack every WS batter in the face with a tag after every 3rd strike.

Guillen would lose his head and it would fire up those thudersticks to ungodly levels of noise.

Either that or maybe have somebody nail Eddings in the sack with a throw or run over him on the basepaths.

Your Sox prediction looks pretty crappy considering there is a good possibility that series was going back to LA with the Sox down 0-2.

but it's not. get over it. move on. play the damn game and let's see what happens now. fuck the "what ifs."

What if Ricky Proehl hadn't made that catch against the Jaguars?
What if Buckner caught that roller?
What if Clinton didn't get a BJ?

IT DOESN'T MATTER NOW! Play the damn game.

What if the ump made the CORRECT CALL?
What if the ump had some cajones and stood up for the out call that he clearly made?

What if Bartman hadn't screwed up the play for the cubs? Or is Alex Gonzalez hadn't screwed up? :lalala:

It's the ump's problem. Not mine. Nothing can be done about it. Result won't change. Both teams - and the fans - need to look toward Game 3. You want instant replay? Fine. Discuss it AFTER the World Series when changes to the way the game is played should be discussed.

Now, Jon Garland vs. John Lackey. Discuss.

I dont want instant replay but I also think it sucks the Angels got hosed.

Youre the one getting all touchy about this, not me. I didnt say it was your problem. I could care less about the White Sox. The two best teams in the ML are playing tomorrow night in Houston.

It sucks for the underdog in a situation to also deal with a shitty ump who makes a call and then says he didnt make it.

if he makes the correct call, they go to the 10th.

even after looking at the replay, the guy stood by his call. motion or not, there is no way he was changing it.

let it go, and quit being bitter because you are a cub fan.

I would like for you to point out ANYWHERE in this thread, or others relatying to this topic, where I disagreed with that sentiment.

LA/Anaheim/Orange CO. got jobbed on a bad call.

There, I said it for you again.

Getting all pissy about it, and saying Chicago cheated (or anything to that effect), is just stupid.

And if he were a shitty ump, he wouldn't be in the majors, let alone working the playoffs.

He called him out and that is clear in every replay they show. Of course all the networks are mysteriously cutting out while his hand is still flat out to the side, right before he makes the out motion. So saying he is standing by his call is a mockery to everyones eyesight.
