The Sports Reporters where debating Ok running up the score. I think you play football for the entire game. What was OK to do? Take a knee on every offensive play? and laydown on the Def.?

when you are up that much, you put in the 2nd or even 3rd stringers to make the game at least a little more interesting

We have a winner folks! That is why we DONT have a playoff system in D1 football.

As a head coach, you SHOULD play your group 2 and group 3 teams with a huge lead on an inferior opponent. If they continue to dominate you cant really help that. Some coaches have a problem with running up the score and some dont.

OU did not run it up.....

Of the 65 OU players who are on the active roster, 59 got into the game. The starters on offense were gone at halftime, with the exception of the two tailbacks. With the injury of Renaldo Works and the departure of Jered Estes, OU only has two tailbacks to use - and both saw equal time. Jason White, who is in the running for the Heisman Trophy, did not take a snap in the 2nd half.

The defense usually plays 20 deep during the course of any game. Only 3 starters were actually on the field in the 4th quarter, as they continued to run 2nd and 3rd teamers on and off. The two coaches agreed to let the clock run throughout the 4th quarter. OU took a knee with 8 minutes left at the Texas A&M 5 yard line and ran fullback up the middle (using a walk on fullback) the rest of the game.

And besides, where was Lupica's tirade when the same Texas A&M team beat Baylor 73-10?

Hey Lupica...your little tirade of libel makes you the final member of this weekend's college football version of the 3 Stooges...

Kellen Winslow for his post-game comments, Darnell Dockett of Florida State for his cheap shot against Clemson, and you. Quite the trio.

At least Winslow issued an apology, owning up to the fact that what he said was wrong and out-of-place. I'm betting you are too stupid to even realize that you were wrong. Do me a favor
and stick to what you do know, whatever the hell that is, because if it is outside of New York City, you're clueless.

    Oh, and one other thing....

    Vaffanculo!
