That's not the issue. Interior defense and rebounding are the concerns.

Ok 1 of 2 right. Back in 1993 or so When Wallace and Stackhouse (not McCants) came in they took a lot of playing time from the seniors and from what I remember hearing (lived there locally) the teams chemistry suffered.

I also forgot Bobby Frasor is coming back. The incoming class isn't as strong as Wallace's but Roy Williams will have to sooth some ego spreading the minutes around

the team situation this year is nothing like it was in 1993. The freshmen coming in don't have the pedigrees, talent or egos that Stackhouse and Wallace had.

Ginyard's minutes will go down but only because of his injury and how long it takes him to get back into shape. If anything that injury will placate Green who will get to start until Ginyard is back and maybe even all season.

Roy started Ginyard for the last two seasons for a reason. As for the freshmen - Davis and Zeller both will split the minutes that Stepheson played plus they'll lkely get more with Ginyard out. Both those guys have some filling out to do before they are big time contributors, although if either can play D and rebound they may steal some of Thompson's minutes.

Drew probably won't see the court much with two veteran point guards ahead of him. Which is fine - not every player has to be a star as a freshman. Next year it'll be his team to run as a sophomore.

What about Frasor, a 5th year senior? He'll cut into Lawson's time. That and he can hit the outside shot regularly

no way. He'll play - but not at Lawson's expense. He'll be his backup just like he was last season before he got hurt. As much as Roy likes to run Frasor will get plenty of minutes.

Frasor never redshirted. He's the same class as Paulus. I think UNC could end up suffering the same type of fate as the team two years ago when they have soo many people and Roy feels obligated to play them all some minutes and it hurts the team sometimes. To be honest though I think the only team that can beat UNC in conference play is Duke and that is if Duke plays real well. If UNC doesn't win the title this year it might be the biggest dissapointment in Heels history because Lawson and Ellington are definitely bouncing to the pros after this year.
