    Varitek better be the starting catcher on the All-Star this year. He has stepped it up since officially becoming the captain of the team.

    Miller & Clement looked great over the weekend. If Miller can keep this up, he will be the bargain of the year.

    Foulke, on the other hand, is gonna be the death of me.

    It really seems like he has totally lost confidence in his fast ball, which means that guys can sit on his change. He needs to figure this out fast.

    that ninth inning in the first Braves game was pitiful. nothing but meat.

    on the bright side, you look at Foulke's poor performance; Schilling and Wells contributing nothing; Renteria not hitting and playing average in the field; Manny and Millar struggling somewhat at the plate, and their still seven or eight games over .500, a couple games out.
