Last I checked baseball players get a vacation between OCTOBER and MARCH, but perhaps you haven't heard about that because it's such a short time. A time when NO baseball is played.

Its an analogy asshat. 3 days off is still 3 days off. The offseason has absolutely nothing to fucking do with it.

If youre telling me your average ballplayer isnt looking forward to a few days off youre fucking stupid.

And if you are happy about taking 2 out of 3 in Chicago but losing that game, in that fashion, then that speaks for you as well.

So you are saying that all the players do is sit around and watch TV for months?

How is that an analogy? What are you comparing it to? The average working class American? Ballplayers are anything but that. And the offseason has plenty to do with it when you are talking about vacation. I'm not stupid for bringing up this point, you're just pissed that I made you look stupid. And "youre" is a contraction, so there needs to be an apostrophe. As in "If YOU'RE going to insult me, DON'T make yourself look stupid in the process". HOO-MUTHAFUCKIN'-RA!

I'm not saying that at all. Baseball players are professional athletes, so they have to stay in shape. They join winter leagues and work out. This is the same during the All-Star break as well. I'm sure they hit the weight room and hit the batting cages. And the word VACATION does not imply that they are sitting around doing nothing. Do you sit around and watch T.V. on your vacation? I don't.

I think any team would be ok with going into Chicago and taking 2 of 3 asswipe. What "speaks for me as well" and what the fuck are you talking about, moron?

Applejack, you never responded to me pointing out that MLB.com claimed that the Alexander for Smoltz trade was 8/12/87, while Glavine debuted with Atlanta 8/14/87.
