sox use two picks late in round one to take Wren, SC, high school OF Jason Place and UNC rhp (Charlotte native) Daniel Bard.

edit: lefty Kris Johnson, Wichita St. and righty Caleb Clay (high schooler from Alabamy) go in supplemental round (Damon and Mueller, respectively).

    can't stock enough pitching.

speaking of young pitching, Lester is probably going to start the second game of the weekend doubleheader against the Rangers.

    ^nevermind

Rainout tonight so everybody gets pushed back so no need to pitch Lester this weekend, especially after Pauley pitched a good game last night.

Josh is a twin. The other one was drafted also.

I wish the Sox could join the National League. I think 125 regular season wins would be reachable, especially if we are in the "comedy" central division.

Big Papi strikes again against the PHils. The National League is a joke. Bring on the Mets.

The National League's best team and second best pitcher? Dunskie.

What a fucking joke. Maybe they should switch out some of the better Triple A teams for NL teams.
