    Another great ninth inning from Foulke. What he did last October was incredible, but this crap has to stop.

    looks like Dave McCarty's time with the club is up. designated for assignment after the Sox brought up Jeremi Gonzalez from Pawtucket. And the sox have signed John Olerud.

    (side note: Foulke gave up another homer in a save situation last night. WTF? fortunately, this time, he had a three-run lead and it was a solo shot).

    I didn't know this until today, but apparently that's what Varitek said to A-Rod last year after Arroyo plunked him during that regular season game. I always wondered what Varitek had said to set A-Rod off like that.
