You wan to expand on that a little? The guy threw right a Ortiz's head. I'd be pissed too.

It seems they get into that crap with every team. From my recollection the Ortiz incident was not what started that.

    Arroyo started it

Arroyo hit Huff in the leg, and they retaliated by throwing at Manny. That's where it should have ended. You aren't allowed to keep going after people until you hit one.

They traded back and forth so I don't see how that excuses the Sox.

If you are throwing at someone - you don't aim for their leg. Arroyo wasn't throwing at Huff the first one.

But the Rays took offense, and threw high and tight to Manny. So Arroyo drilled the next guy (not close to the head, BTW). So they Rays kept it up by throwing at Ortiz. Again - at his head.

You don't throw at people's heads.

I really don't see the Sox pitchers as headhunters. At least, not since Pedro left.

I admit to not following baseball that closely and not understanding it. However, I had a conversation with several long time baseball followers who agreed that the Boston seems to be involved in alot of crap so far this year. That's all I'm getting at. On he surface it appears they are instigators.

meanwhile, the Sox bullpen is really, really bad.

better score a buttload of runs, 'cause they're gonna need them.
