Guess Hansen won't be in the playoof picture, if the Sox make it. Had to take six days off to rest a dead arm. The guy's been virtually unhittable. Oh well, perhaps he'll recover enough to be put on the expanded roster.

sorry state of affairs on the pitching staff: Lenny DiNardo gets a spot start tonight against the O's.

I was looking for Hansen's name out there but never saw it. I'm torn on that one. They did activate Foulke though.

I was saying they should at least make him a September call up. that was before he petered out. This guy's the future, why push him? I'll take my chances with Foulke, or if necessary, timlin as closer and Papelbon as the setup guy.

Chad Harville, picked up on waivers from Houston, could be a key addition. Last 13 games he has a 1.17 ERA.

MikeNinerHunt was just sent a sweet bottle opener. It has the last call of the AL title game and of the championship game.

    schilling tagged again.

on the bright side, Foulke throws 1.2 innings scoreless and hitless ball.

I didn't see the game, so I am just going by the boxscore. But he only gave up 4 runs and they came later in the game, so I was thinking he looked OK early and then just got a little tired.

At least that's what I was hoping happened.
