Greatest moment ever. I was just watching the Twins throw errors arround the infield and I saw Damon running for home and the 3rd baseman wind up. I yelled "Hit him in the head!" and he did! He scored, but well worth it.

Did Yaz really get caught in a big love puddle with Fred Lynn and Bernie Carbo?

I just saw that - but it says he is better against righties. That means the pretty much only have Myers to face lefties out of the pen.

On a side note, did you see Embree's first outing for the Spanks? He came out and promptly gave up the lead. I hate it for him, but he had lost it this year.

Remlinger: another 4-plus ERA guy. guy looks older than PantherPaul. I was hoping with the twinkies falling back, they'd be ablwe to go after one of their relievers (Romero or Rincon) but they'd have a hard time getting them through waivers. the pen's gonna be a crapshoot come playoff time. Maybe they'll go four-man and have Wake doing long relief every night. or closing for that matter.
