Obviously. saying that he should be the back up just oozes confidence.

    Your search feature not working?

He was the 65th player taken and every team had 2 chances to take him. He hit .255 and .305 in his 2 AAA seasons so my point is nobody saw this coming, especially you, so just STFU about it already.

Yes, obviously I thought he would be complete shit, which is why I was against sending him down.

If you tell me that you saw him becoming the rookie of the year, 2nd year all-star and MVP candidate I'm gonna drive to your house and pimp-slap you.

I even heard Theo say they never saw all-star potential in him but thought he was a hard enough worker to be an every day player.

I don't know whats worse, dealing with you when you are right or when you are wrong. You are equally annoying in both situations.

I figured he had a chance to be a good to very good major leaguer - which is why I was willing to let him work through his problems.

    LOL

Doesn't sound like I guaranteed he would have an awful MLB career.

The three players I brought up disprove your "one way to see if a guy can play".

You wanted to pull the plug on him or make him a backup after 50 games. It's OK to admit you were wrong.

Go ahead and say you were wrong about Matt Clement returning to form.

Never said he was a backup for life, just felt that Alex Cora needed to start for awhile.

Please find my "pulling the plug" quote.
