    Foulke is the worst closer in history and the idiot Francona still plays him,, Francona is repeatily raping his players,, I wouldn't play for him

    Manny really snuck up the list with 20 career slams. Gehrig's record has stood 66 years now, it is one of the oldest live ball career records left before WWII.

    schilling in the bullpen, even if it's as a closer for the rest of the season, is a good move. the pen is responsible for far more lost games than the rotation. and who knows how long it'll be before foulke recovers from surgery.

    I'm not so sure I like that deal as it gives the As the ability to deal Kotsay to Youknowwho.

    the Yankees have nothing to give for Kotsay. you know Beane will ask for a lot and the Spankers' farm system is running on fumes. I heard he had suggested the As would be willing to part with Kotsay for Robinson Cano. That would all but force the Yanks to play Womack everyday.
