    Gagne is a free agent after the season. It's also somewhat interesting that Boston could have had him the whole season if they were just willing to pay a little more than they eventually did.

    We don't know that yet. Gabbard was 4-0 with an era under 4. He's not proven yet either but more than anyone else.

    Yeah, you were pimping him hard before the season. I wish they had taken a flyer on him.

    To that point, why the hell doesn't Theo have a "flyer fund" where he spends a couple of mill on guys that have a lot of questions, but a lot of upside. It's not like they don't have the payroll.

    I really don't think that there is any question that Lester is better than him. And why the hell was I thinking that Delcarmen was a lefty? :headbang:

    How is Julio Lugo's average so low. It seems like everytime I watch him play he goes 2 for 4. It's uncanny.
