I'm running my 1st race on Sunday. It's the Run For Life race in Washington DC around the tidal basin. It's a 10K.

I haven't been able to train normally since I had a stomach bug a couple of weeks ago but I think I should be ok. I can run 3-4 miles without much issue. Anything I should do before the race and after?

    TIA

I wouldn't know...I hate running, but I admire the fact that people can and do.

    Before the race: withdraw
After the race: thank me for the advice

If you know you're going to be running for your life on Sunday, why wait? Get away from the danger now, then you won't have to run.:MEtaketemperature:
