    pedro has been gone about all year so what. they have been playing badly here lately but i still say they could win it all. even if not they still had a great year.they broke shitlanta's division winning streak. i just hope the yankees dont win it.

    oh well. still a great season. and the well rested tigers seem to be destined to win it all anyway. mets hitters just couldnt get the big hit when it was needed. a few tweaks here and there and the mets will be back strong next year. go tigers. mets in '07.

    for all their pitching injuries before the playoffs, this final game and series saw some good performances by the mets hurlers. that kid who threw last night should have never been out there but he was great. losing in the 9th aint so bad, still has to suck. really good series from somebody not emotionally attached to either team. i hope the ny press wont beat up on willie and the team too much. they did real good.
