3 complete games in the past 4 games. Smoltz, Davies, and Hudson were on fire this past week, and Thomson should have won his game. Braves are only 8-8 but looking a TON better, and Pena looked good at shortstop. Andruw Jones and LaRoche had really good weekends

lol..... 14 division titles 1 ws title....:banginghe all those wasted years... btw the mets looked lost against the braves but 3 starters missing may have hurt as much as the great braves pitching...it is still way to early to say anything about either team at this point... i still think the braves will not win the east this year though

please dont remind me of our post season woes.:lalala:
we're missing a few guys too but you're right, its very early. i think the mets had a chance to make more of a statement than the braves did. its the first real competition they've faced thus far and the braves stole their thunder at shea. but i wont discount the mets just yet. they have all the tools in place, just gotta do it. they have a very good shot at winning the NLE this year imo.

    Braves were without 2 starters.

I would much rather see the Braves win 14 straight division titles and 1 World series than sit through some of the god awful seasons some of these teams had in that same time frame.

And at what point did the Mets stop "sucking ass"?

I know, it was the 01 season when they were 2 games over .500. Or maybe it was the 02 season when they posted that amazing 75-86 record. No? Well how about 03 and the 66-95 season. It has to be the 04 seaon and going 71-91. I guess it truely was last year and the extra sporty 83-79 season.
