    Is the shizznit. I just burned a cd of all Run-DMC. Why can't all rap be like that?

    the music moved on. There was a lot of that early on, much of it less known commercially than them, and then it kept moving on. The Gangsta thing kinda cut it off as to where the only thing that was left was Will Smith. And why try by then?

    run dmc was pure rap.

    empd, bdp, big daddy kane, fat boys, beastie boys, public enemy, ll, -- hell, i'd take erik b and rakim, 2-live and anything done in the 80s over all this hip hop.
