    Congrats to both, well deserved.

Did Hansbrough really make 1-st Team All American by the AP? Does anyone know the full team? I never saw it really reported..

I don't think the AP team is out yet. Doubt he makes first team on that one. Probably second team though.

That explains why I only heard rumblings.

Nice to see they stiffed Rudy Gay. How the hell did he make the finalists in the Wooden awards? I never heard his damn name other than draft hype, and I watched a handful of UConn games. What a hype.

Rudy Gay was overhyped, plain and simple. But so what? He didn't create the inflated expectations.

How'd he make the list of finalists for the Wooden Award? He averaged 15 pts, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and nearly two steals a game on a team full of good players. Why the fuck wouldn't the best player on a team that was top three all year not be a finalist?

You need to clue yourself in to the fact that good basketball and good basketball players exist outside the ACC.

Yes he was. And right now he'd still probably be the best one on your team.

Oh I'm well aware of that. Had Marcus Williams been able to keep his hands to himself Rudy Gay wouldn't be on ANYONE'S radar. But thanks for the lesson. Sheldon Williams or Hansbrough deserved the fourth spot over Gay. Gay underachieved in every big game he played this year. He wasn't the second best player on his team, just the one who got the left over opportunities after Marcus and Josh Boone were done getting doubled. He doesn't deserve a spot on that list, my ACC bias aside. He's only on there because of preseason hype.
