Back to back UF team was superior. They would have rolled that tarheel team. If they had come back, they would have won a third title in a row. There is no question.

    fine. keep sucking cock then

for the record, I agree. and for another record, the Big East was the best conference in basketball this year, which is all I've ever really maintained.

Glad you're finally starting to see that calling Roy 'average' or 'just good' is an exaggeration aimed at belittling him. He's better than that.

He's actually improved this year over even last year because now he'll actually call timeouts to stop the other team's runs instead of hanging on to them like they'd get him points at the end of games.

UF was definitely a good team during this decade. The back to back championships can't be ignored.
However, I think it's a good argument. I really don't have an opinion about it, although I lean toward the side of UNC being the team of the decade. Do we want to go down this road and back up some of our opinions with facts or do we leave this one alone?

If that were true, we wouldn't have 90% of the shit we have going back and forth.

Again, not what I said. He's a good coach and a good recruiter. Something neither Doh nor Gut were. Tubby Smith was a good coach but not a good recruiter. He was an average recruiter. You can't win a title, heck you can't get to the final four unless you are a good coach. But, being a good coach and a good recruiter at Kansas or Chapel Hill is all you have to be. Those kinds of programs, if you can handle them, make you better than you are.

But, like I said, it is all an exercise in futility. You said a team that won one title was the team of the decade over a team that won back to back titles with 4 of their five starters leaving early.

it is true. Grid also maintains that his program is St. Bonaventure, but you guys talk shit about big east schools like he claims every single one of them as his own.

Irrelevant, he's clearly the best and only getting better.
