    damn..you just beat me to it.

    anyway, I still have some trouble following/believing this story.

    I'm a Cincinnati native and lifelong Reds fan as well as a proud supporter of Rose (FOR HIS ON FIELD ACTIVITIES ONLY).........however, I can't understand why the MLB would agree to this.

    regardless, I hope the bottom line (Rose will be eligible for the HOF) is true.

    Fuck Pete Rose. He broke the one rule that you can't break in baseball. I mean really, why even have rules anymore?

    Do his stats make him Hall worthy - Absolutely. But he fucked up and there should be a price for betting on your own team. Even if he only bet on them to win.

    I hope he gets hit by a fucking bus before they can induct him.

    there are people who have killed and are out of prison in shorter time than this ban. about damn time baseball got over it and let him in. besides, they still ain't proved without a doubt that he did it.
