    To the game, yes. The absolute worst.

    There are obvious things like murder, rape, treason, etc. that are worse for ANY person to do. Bust as far as your life in baseball and the integrety of teh game there is nothing worse than betting on it at all, much less betting on your own team.

    As far as the game is concerned? Yes.

    Everything else goes to being a shitty individual. Murder and those other things you list? They are bad. They don't make the sport's integrity suffer though. They simply are the actions of shitty individuals who are employed within that sport.

    Unless, of course, you shoot someone while they're up to bat. :)

    So those other things other than betting don't affect the game? I think they do, maybe not from an immediate win-loss or stat standpoint. But from an overall attitude, perception of what players are and how they make up the game I think it does.

    None of that is as important as knowing that one game is not being given extra significance than another because the manager has some cash riding on the game. That is more important than anything else there is.

    Does getting ino the HOF ONLY take in account what you did on the field as a player or coach or does it take in consideration your character off the field as well?
