    Agreed. Tivo is set an ready to go. Hope it stays on my Season Pass list longer than "The Comeback" did.

    this looks good. i recently net flix'd "i, claudius" and thought that hbo could do a really good update of it. then i saw the rome promos like a week later. obviously not a remake of i, claudius but i think it'll be good.


    what i'd REALLY like hbo to do is "the watchmen". 12 part series something like band of brothers. that would kick so much ass it would be silly. you just can't make a movie to do the thing justice.

    We don't have HBO, so I won't be watching it. The reviews say there's a LOT of sex in it. Lots. And lots of sex. A bunch.

    There was some of that. The whole bull blood sacrifice thing was a bit gross. Overall I thought it was pretty good. Had a an opening similar to Gladiator.

    very sex-obsessed. i guess they're trying to show the decadence of rome.

    looks like this takes place imediately prior to i, claudius. in fact, i think the little kid is augustus caesar (who is caesar when ic first starts).
