    It's on my to-do list.

Im still playing HL2, but it's next in line.

I love RTS games...AOE2, Empire Earth, thought rise of nations was gay, and especially all of the C&C series.

Im looking forward to it, and it's gotten great reviews.

I just got done reading one of those good reviews - so I thought I'd ask here too. Everyone seems to like it. I still play AOE2, but never got around to trying Empire Earth or RON. But I was thinking of getting this one. I have some time to burn.

RTW is a helluva game. Whether you like manipulating armies on a map, or close in fighting, this game rocks.

This is an outstanding strategy game. Kick-ass battles, great music and VERY deep strategy-empire mode. It hurts to say, but it's as good or better than Medieval: Total War, my absolute favorite PC game. I'm currently the House of Julii; I've conquered the area that is now northern Italy, the Spanish penninsula, and modern France. Now I'm turning my eyes towards Britannia. Fuckers broke their alliance with me and are waging war with the other Roman houses. The Senate has been pushing me to break the alliance anyway, but I'm doing this on my own time. I'm the biggest and baddest of the Roman houses right now, so they'd better be careful who they try to boss around.

Damn, just got this about a week ago. It's one of the best games ever. Soooo damn addictive. The campaign map has the old "one more turn" thing going for it that civ2 had. The real-time battles are awesome too. I'm playing as Carthage now, going to try to recreate Hannibal's march from Spain across the Alps into Rome. Elephant units kick ass, until they run amok and kill your own guys. :laugh1:

I've loved this series...Rome TW, Rome TW Barbarian Invasion, Medievel 2 TW..all great.

Early next year they're coming out with Shogun Total War (Feudal Japan/Ninjas/Samurai, etc). Cannot wait.

6 months later and I am still playing Empire.

Very crack-like with good replay value.
