    read the last three paragraphs in this story. it's fucking crazy how these ballplayers talk when "addressing" the issue of steroids, particularly when they're under the spotlight.

    and there's this gem from the GM:

    "We're happy to find out that he's saying that he never used HGH. We're an organization that feels there isn't a place in our game for any of these illegal substances. He's denying he ever used something he was linked to."

    does anyone believe baseball has any desire to really address this issue?

    Craig Biggio's on them to according to David Wells and he is going to get his 3,000th hit midway through this year.
