Roger Grimsby & Bill Beutel: Best Local News Anchors Ever . . . Period!!!!!!

    Bill Beutel & Roger Grimsby were the lead anchors at WABC-TV for almost 20 years (late 60's to mid 1980's). They were the dominant anchors in NYC for many, many years. Today's local anchor teams couldn't even get close to touching these guy's jock straps!!!! I mean look at the EYEWITNESS NEWS promos in this clip were they make fun of each other; No way would you see local anchors do that today (everyone is so damn serious :( :( !!!!!!). Plus, EYEWITNESS NEWS had the best opening ever (Tar Sequence from COOL HAND LUKE, which all of the ABC O&O stations used for a long time
