    but he sucks...?

yeah, meanwhile, the more football I watch the more I see pretty much every QB make a dumb throw or two in a game.

I'll take an enthusiastic QB that makes an occasional mistake (delhomme) over the uninspired qb (Bledsoe, Eli, etc.) that makes occasional mistakes.

All QB's make some poor throws. Jake plays well with the money on the table (playoffs). Only 1 int in 5 playoff games. 7 TD's.

Jake plays at a high level.

Delhomme admitted in the pre-game that he considered himself a "gun slinger".

I saw that interview. I got to our table before most everyone else, so I had to sit through an awful, awful pregame show.

I'm showing my ignorance here. Who was Wendell Tyler? Craig kept comparing Foster to him.

Wendell Tyler was the incumbent RB that joined the 49ers as a veteran when Craig was drafted, in 1983. Tyler was the RB, Craig initially the FB. Craig took over the vast majority of the yards in 1985, and then the 9ers drafted Rathman to sit at FB while edging Tyler out.

    Great receivers drop catchable passes.
Great defensive backs get beaten for touchdowns.
Great linemen miss blocks and get beaten for sacks.
Great defensive players get run over.

    It happens every week.
