apparently, it's what the kids have. ty's been vomiting for a week now. jillian just started throwing up two days ago. it's also got diareah with it. the puking is mostly at night.

doc says it can last from 2-4 weeks.

only a matter of time until i get it...

So sorry Larry. We just got over a round of it here.

Its called the Rota virus. It looks like a cog or wheel under the microscope.

Zoe had some days she was ok for the most part, but other times she had diarrhea and generally no appetite. It started with several hours of just puking. I felt so sorry for her.

Everyone else got it before I did, it took a week for me to get it when everyone else already cycled through it. (God let me take care of her before he gave it to me).

My doctor just said basically to let her eat and drink what she wanted, if she wanted it and to give her pedialite if she wasnt drinking much water. If their little bellies cramp, dampen a towel with warm water and lay it on their tummy, it helped with Zoes cramps.

    I hope they do ok.

yeah -- no appetite. a bit of a fever, but nothing serious.

i wonder if i should let ty play in his first t-ball game wednesday. my inclination is yes. he's got energy and he seems fine.

what abot you? did you get it?

how long did it last for everyone?

It seems they will do better with it than adults.

Its unclear whether I caught that virus from her or just had the stomach flu that was going around here a couple of weeks ago. Everyone had it all around here.

Either way, I wanted to die the first night I got it. The puking lasted about 8 hours, then diarrhea for a day or so tapering off but still feeling yucky for about 2 days. I and others still had nausea for 3 or 4 days past that.
The worst part about that was the aching. I didnt cry with labor pain, I cried with this. It was like someone was hitting me with a hammer in my lower back. I wouldnt wish that on anyone, I so hope you dont get it.

Hopefully(for you) it was the stomach flu and not the rota virus I had and adults dont always get it. My mother, 2 sisters, my niece and me were all around Zoe and everyone except my mother caught it. Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands. Be cautious of touching your eyes, nose or mouth with your hands for a few days. Use lysol spray over the house a couple of times a day and over the area where the kids were, and pray.

I had it. Medicinal marijuana took care of it.
