    .... they advance after knocking off the Padres 9-8 in 13 innings. Peavy and Hoffman get rocked and Coors field was alive with electricity, great atmosphere. i went to bed after the 11th tho.

    he never touched the plate. not that it really matters any more, but holliday should have been called out. I wish he would have, I wanted to watch more of that game. What a great baseball game.

    Phillies win the series but every game will be like 9-8, 8-6, or more. Not a lot of pitching in this one.

    the Rockies are hitting the ball very well. if the Phils dont step up in game two they may get swept. times a wastin'.

    I had Holliday as my NL MVP even before this series. I like that guy even with a scab on his chin.

    Rockies win game 2. Colorado is the best story in baseball this year. I'm pulling for them.
