Road Trips this coming year

    I mentioned this in another thread, but it got thrown by the wayside...

    I think we definitely need to plan some road trips to a few closer away games this coming year. ECU is a given, but I think trips to Old Dominion and Alabama should also be considered. Who's in?

    I have a bad feeling I'd leave Butt Pirate Univ. with a tooth collection on my knuckles. Don't care for people that out of control with no class or grasp of civilization.

    Christmas break would be a good time. The schedule was finalized in the first week of September last year, if I am not mistaken.

    ECU was fun - 49erAlumnus arranged a little pre-game party at BW3's near their "campus." Then we won and they got so pissed. A conversation between myself and an ECU fan on the way out.

    Butt-pirate: We'll see y'all in football this ye--- oh wait, y'all don't have a football team!
    Me: Y'all didn't have one this year either.
    Butt-pirate: (running after me) I'll kick your ass!!!

    Then his friends got a hold of him. The dude was totally three sheets to the wind.

    If the dates are right, I'm in for Old Dominion and ECU this year. It's been difficult the past couple of seasons to do a road trip, heart attacks, divorce, etc. and I'm about ready to take one.

    anyone have an exact date for the UNCC/Alabama game? i'm sure it will be on a tues or wed unfortuneatley

    Not sure DaveW but at one time, it was discussed as a early December game. I'll see what I can find out for you. December/holiday time is not a good time for road trips with so much going on.
