They have two games left, I think he has a real good shot if we win both.

Richardson is looking for a progression of the team playing better...finishing the season on an upswing. Newton's last 4 games is his best 4 games of his career, the team has won 2 out of the last 3. They head to San Diego next week and with the knowledge Rivera & Chud have, I'm expecting back to back wins. Even Thomas Davis was calling out his coach saying it's been the players, not the coaches...

Just sayin', if I'm Rivera, I'm feeling more confident now then I have since Hurney got fired

Nothing will be decided until new GM is hired.

and the timing of that hire may have an impact on Rivera for 2013. If the GM hire drags on, there may not be a candidate that he would want, so it might make sense to him to stand pat at HC for 2013 rather than making a two or three year leap on a guy he may not want.

I'm just sayin... looks to me like Rivera is coming back, and I haven't been wrong about anything on this board yet so no reason to be now

I want him to come back from a sentimental standpoint - I like his schemes and I like what he stands for. I don't even mind most of his late game decisions, but they generally end in disaster and that costs games.
