I don't think Rivera is the major problem, myself. Cooks/groceries, etc. You think Rivera doesn't want better defensive talent? He's trying to make steak out of chopped liver in the defensive backfield.

If he has to go, I can only approve if Hurney goes too.

TOTALLY disagree with this. While I agree most falls on Marty, do you really think these San Diego cast offs came here for any reason OTHER than Rivera?

I would add though, no off-season.. Rivera brought in guys who knew that system.. how many of them are still here?

What castoffs are you talking about? Applewhite? Nanee last year? Or Chud? No one of consequence, except Chud (who was fucking great last year) and Tolbert. Most of that shit's offense, which is not the big problem anyway. What am I missing here?

Who put the team together? Who signed all the fuckers to huge money deals that left us unable to do much other than bring in castoffs anyway?

There was another linebacker, and the Center that never did show up. So he does have say in the situation.

So, really no one of consequence except Tolbert and Chud. I get you don't like Rivera, but he ain't the big problem. If he goes and Hurney stays, same old same old with the roster.

I'm not looking for Rivera to be fired, but as I've stated, I don't feel like he has control of the team and has it going in any particular direction. My opinion wouldn't be different if Matt Bryant had missed his field goal, so I'm not evaluating based on wins and losses.
