Don't have a link for this, but quick perusal of the Observer this morning says that Richard Williams is withdrawing from the draft to finish college and become a strength coach.

im getting the story up now, but there are network-wide server problems.

the kid just said that football wasn't his thing, basically. hard to believe he's turning down millions. seems like a nice kid though.

he said all he needs to make him happy is an olf truck and a fridge. he's only 23.

Didn't someone else do that last year? I'm thinking it might have been one of the Panthers' draft picks/collegate free agents. I can just vaguely remember it, but then again, maybe I'm smoking crack.

Well, regardless, we know you've been smoking crack.

Can recall anyone in a similar situation.

He's the guy who went off the deep end in Chicago, right?

Vikings....left after two days of training camp and said his heart wasn't in football. Said he wanted to be a minister. Picked up later by Miami and he then tried to kill himself. I think he is still on Dallas roster but is still having problems.

I thought you meant "THE" Richard Williams, the one who revolutionized tennis.

No, he would have been in the "missing Link" thread. Much like the missing pieces.

yeah, it was, uhh, Moon? from FSU, the mediocre at best center who lasted all but two days and took shots at most of the players here for something or other.
