Ribs.... Best cooking methods

    I'm fixin' a couple racks of baby backs on Weds.... What are some of y'alls best cooking methods? All opinions welcome.

    broiled in a pot, then grilled with a beer. Not the beer, it is for drinking, fyi.

    by 'broiled', Imma assume you mean 'boiled'. LOL. That's the route I was thinking of going with. I was gonna boil them for a lil' bit, then I was gonna smoke them for a lil' bit before I just all-out grill them with direct heat.

    smoke them for 6 hours at about 205 degrees

    or be lazy and braise them for 2.5 hours at 223 degrees then finish on the grill



    don't boil them...put them in a deep pan with liquid to just cover the ribs, cover pan with foil and bake as described above
    or put in a roasting bag and do the same

    The last two times I did them, I just smoked them like that and they were good, but they were a bit dry. And I tended to them every 30 minutes or so to 'baste' them.... So I'm thinking this time I wanna go with the boiling method, even though I'm not a big fan of the idea.

    If you are going to slow cook them, leave a pan of water in the grill with them

    Yep. Did that, too. Still dry, and hard to get the meat off the bone. Flavor was good though.

    don't boil...braise in chicken stock and apple juice....trust me
