Rhule got input on Fitterer's hire. He might outlast him if tepper likes him but he probably isn't the GM unless Rhule says so.

Idiot owner handed the keys to bad coach and all the bad decisions lead directly back to that.

 

Unless final say on roster moves was put in his contract, I'd take it away from Rhule.

Carolina’s is expected to target former NFL head coaches Jay Gruden and Bill O’Brien in its search for a new offensive coordinator, per league sources. Carolina also expected to be interested in talking with Rams’ OC Kevin O'Connell.

Interesting that they're looking for NFL head job experience. Seems part admission that Rhule is out of his depth and part hedging for a interim to permanent HC type sitting on the staff.

 

O'Brien having to deal with Darnold's delay of game penalties would be hilarious.

 

Rhule is pretty obviously going to be fired in a year or two which means only desperate to get back in the league coaches will take the job.. so much like lovie settling on Martz to 'fix' jay cutler of those three its gruden and its not even close.

 

Honestly, Bill O'Brien would be a nice addition to the Panthers. He's a competent football coach and has way more NFL connections than Matt Rhule.

 

And he cursed some asshole fans, which I personally like.

 

Dude showed up to today's presser looking like a college kid trying to get a drop from a class he's failing the day before the final. Did this fucker even shower? Why the hoodie? Did grandma die and that's why you couldn't settle on an offensive philosophy?

 

He looks like a guy who's been thoroughly exposed as a grifter, but there's nothing anyone can do about it, so he might as well stop showering.
