Well I was lucky enough to attend Trilogy Tuesday at AMC Concord Mills. Even got on the local Fox news!!! It was truely awesome to watch all three and AMC did a great job offering discount prices at the concession stands ($1.00 hotdog for example) and providing free pizza. Not to mention the cool soruviner they gave us (picture frame with film clips from each of the three movies). ROTK was a great movie, he did as someone stated leave out some key points but being at 3 hrs and 20 minutes I'm sure he squeezed in all he could for the theaterical release. I also think Sean Astin should at least get nominated for an Oscar, he did a fantastic job in the final film. I think this movie has Oscar written all over it. Can't wait to go watch it again!!

It's good to know they stayed true to the story, at least in the respect that Sam was the one primarily responsible for getting Frodo and the ring to the mountain. I'm really looking forward to this now.

Apparently the movie was good enough to overcome that distraction.
