    I don't think i would have considered Return of Premium if my husband wasn't a smoker. His rates are 3 times more than mine. Nonetheless, i compared the two for 20 years and the difference came out to be around $960/yr ($80/mo). So, in the long run, i do think that investing the difference would prove to be the best choice.
