I got the Harmony 676 Sport...it's pretty cool. It the same as the 688, except the buttons are seperated and has more of a feel.

I gotta say though, it's just a fucking remote control, and for $140 shipped...wow...I can see my wife's point on this. Oh well, what's done is done. I wanted a brand new one, and CC & BB has it for $199+tax

But it does work well. I have 12 devices programed into it, and about 7 Activities. The web page has a place where you can map each of the buttons to do what you want. It operates my Sony UltimateTV DVR through DirecTV and Adelphia's HD DVR from cable perfectly, as well as the DVD/VCR combo, the DVD-Recorder, the Sony PS2, my Sony Camcorder, CD player, both Stereo's, etc...I had to scroll around to find a few things, but once I custom mapped a couple of buttons, it's pretty cool

plus the buttons light up...but damn, $140 for a remote....:wtf23:

Not everyone pays that much for that remote...my 688 was $120, shipped and no tax, about 8 months ago...

the 880 is available now. i think it's only at best buy and thru logitech for a few weeks, then it'll be more widely available (maybe they wanna be exclusive till father's day or something).

so what's a reputable online company for this sort of thing? i've been burned by going strictly for the cheapest price (if something goes wrong, i don't want the person to tell me i'm sol).
