    680 is the ideal one for controlling a Windows Media Center setup.
    688 has the most buttons for most power, but I think the 680 has the best layout.

    All of the 6 series have the same programmability, so it's just looks and button layouts.

    The new color screen gee-whiz one is phat, but has half of the buttons (but for 99% of what you use, it's there).
