    yeah, i poked around and my tv has discrete selections for input as well as "next input". sweet. most of my components are sony so they have pretty robust remote capabilities. i think that multi-in issue might not be the problem i thought it was... i might have had the wrong input selection on my dvd thing -- had to eventually do the "i press this fucking button right here" deal to get it to figure out which input i needed so it seems happy now.

    so far, so good. i with the * activity would default to the 4th activity if you only have 4 and make a scrolling menu if you had more than 4. but oh well.

    got this thing on friday and it is still the same hunk of shit it was last june when it came out.
