Once Marvin Williams is developed people could say the same about him. I'll give Duke their credit for Band and Magette, because a 1 and done guy is going to become even more common now than it was, and its been that way a while now.

That's right, but still that's arguing apples and oranges. I'm saying even with one year they learn SOMETHING towards their development, and whatever school they attended during that time should be credited with that.

Lebron would have been a 1 and done guy. And I doubt he would have done any more for his team than Rodney White. I don't know what point this serves other than how rediculous the NBA is.

It depends on if his college team was already a contender. I think he could've put a team like that over the top.

I've never understood a bad NBA team drafting a guy in the top 5 based on potential. Marvin had a huge upside but I seen him get skooled night and and night out when he came off the bench no less. Not saying he has unbelieveable talent, but lesser known ACC upperclassmen took him to school because they had the experience. So draft a guy, pay him millions so he can be Kwame Brown. McRoberts needs to stay in skool.

its basically kids winning the genetic lottery. 6-10 guys with 7+ wingspans who can jump high, run fast, super athletic, and so-so basketball skills . teams dont want to pass on the next KG, even though he is about as over-rated a superstar there is in the NBA
