Referee Wilbur Hackett jr's hit on quarterback Garcia of South Carolina last Saturday looks like a hit instead of inadvertent contact to me. I watched the "accidental contact" on YouTube.com and the ref moved toward Garcia...not standing his ground.

Let it be noted that Ref. Hackett was a former Kentucky linebacker. The way Hackett took Garcia to the ground should be game film for the LB's at Kentucky to see the proper way to take out the opposing runner.

South Carolina did go up 17-10 only to lose 24-17.

It should be noted that Hackett has done this before.

I know this is only human nature....but I must ask does Hackett have money on these games. Maybe the league needs to take a closer look at Mr. Hackett. The reason I ask is most Ref's do every thing they can to get out of the way. Mr. Hackett did just the opposite.

What I'm saying is if a Ref went after my son the way Hackett went after Garcia I would be up in his face.
