Fried bolonga with melted cheese on bunny bread with sandwich spread and sour cream and onion potato chips. Yum Yum! I haven't had this in years.

Fat Harold's at Ocean Drive has a great thick bologna sandwich. I like mine with mustard, onions, and chile. I try to have one every weekend.

You are correct, it is a true redneck lunch/dinner. I don't think my wife will ever understand the beauty of a bologna sandwich and a glass of wine.

Wash it down with a little Thunderbird or MD.

The Penguin has a good fried bologna sandwich, nice and thick balongna.
fried balagona is nothing but a flattened out hot dog

I don't do white with this and red with that. If I like a wine with a food I disregard the color.

My favorite with the bologna sandwich is a Reisling (which is white).

I know what you mean. My favorite wine at the moment is a syrah. I think it would be good with bolonga. Syrah has a nice peppery taste to it, with a little bit of plum fruity.
