according to my quick calculations based on all unc/dook players in the nba per sportsline...

    unc dook
    51.4 AGP 45.6
    26.3 M/G 26.2
    11.8 PPG 11.1
    4.7 RPG 4.6
    2.1 APG 2.0
    43.4 % 45.6

mostly the same. unc has 10 in the league, dook 11. mcinnis and may have missed a fair amount of time. stackhouse too, but not as much.
hiil, magette, and boozer have all missed considerable time. it wouldn't be a stretch to say they would contribute more to the end line over the unc group. however, can't figure when a injury will happen. gotta figure it's mostly even, with a slight advantage to dook and them being a younger group of players. they still suck.

You might see those numbers change a lot because Maggette and Boozer just got off the injured list. I always hope that Duke players do well in the NBA but if they don't I'm not too upset. I think Daniel Ewing and Chris Duhon have both overachieved. I didn't think Daniel Ewing would play at all, or would have to end up going over to Europe but he's gotten his fair share of minutes. Anyways...JJ is Sporting News Player of The Year :trophy:

I'll give JJ credit for this...he put a serious choke hold on Paulus during the scuffle.

Was it just me, or did Paulus not really act like he wanted to fight until he knew he was being held back. He kinda backed off...but when JJ grabbed him, he went off like he was going to kill somebody.

His biggest fear at that point was probably that JJ would turn him loose and say have at it......

Everyone? Where do you get that from? Everyone hates you my friend. You were proven wrong by a Tarhole fan and still insist on showing your ignorance.

That breakdown pretty accurately shows the path of the program at UNC. 6 of the 10 came from the "old" regimes and then there is pretty much nobody. Then there are 4 rookies.

Anyway, if you had a draft of just these 21 guys, Brand probably goes first - with maybe one other dook guy going in the top 7 or 8.

Not sure of what your specifications are for such a draft (current performance, how they were coming out of college, etc) but Grant would be at least top 5 and likely second and Maggette would be 5-7.

I mean right now. The get redistributed tomorrow to the teams that pick them. Grant is last on that list, since he's probably retiring after this season.

right now Brand, Maggette, and Battier all go in the top 8 without a doubt. Like you said Stackhouse, Carter, Jamison and Wallace are all on the downside of their careers as well.
