    That's because there hasn't been a shooter/scorer of JJ's caliber in the NCAA in atleast 10 years and probally more like 15.

    Hersey Hawkins is the last player I really remember dominating like JJ. I thought about Randolp Childress as a good college scorer that couldn't make it at the next level but, JJ avg's 10 poits more a game than Randolph did his senior year, Rodney Monroe avg'd 27 and I guess he could be an example of JJ not making it.

    It is interesting, I agree there haven't been the shooters in general like there used to be, but the game has changed a lot from what it used to be, so it's hard to know how a good shooter will do in todays game.

    Rudy Gay will be the best out of Morrison, Redick, and himself. He is underachieving in college like Vince Carter did. He should be Big East player of the year with all the talent he has, and in the pros he'll go for about 10 more points than he does now. He'll be a Vince Carter clone.

    well id like to take a phrase that i know all guys love to hear... size dont matter.. haha but honestly... what about dominique wilkins and spud webb and muggsy bouges ... they were successful in the nba... Redick could turn out to be the type of player like manu ginobli for the spurs.. to be successful u have to just be able to make an impact in the game.. and he can most certainly do that

    Dominique was 6-8 and had more athletecism in his pinkie than JJ. Bogues was 5'3, Spud was 5'7.

    I'll worry about JJ as a pro later, right now I'm enjoying watching JJ the college player.Guys like that don't come along every day.
