There are arguments for both sides of this Sly, he takes more shots, so should have a better rythm shooting the 3 than somebody who takes one every now and again. It's like taking batting practice, the first swing you are tight and not loose like you would be after 5 or 6 swings. Taking that first shot you are a little tight, then take another looser, plus you just went through the motion.

Now as the minutes go, playing a lot of minutes he could get tired, but also that player that comes off the bench to shoot has a larger % of his time that he is shooting cold.

Now as FT only count as one point, well it's that way for everybody who shoots them so with Redick's high FT% he has a major advantage there where other players may not. Take Sean May for example, he shot more FT's than Redick with a % not anywhere as good, so who is that going to hurt more?

JJ doesn't have to take them from anywhere all the time, he chooses many times to do that.

No doubt that he is a good player, just still expect more of an overall game from a POY and he just doesn't have that.
