Redick ACC POY

Still didn't really answer my question or address the point I was making. If there were more Redicks out there, they would surely be recruited, whether you think he's the player of the year or not. 6'4 white guys who can bury 3's and shoot like Redick and make almost every free throw aren't a dime a dozen. Also, WTF is up with the white guy thing?? That has nothing to do with it.

 

Err, we do need a PG, no other options there.

Speaking of White guys with little athletic ability who could drain the three....remember Larry Bird? He was about half as athletic as the rest of the competition but he could shoot better than any of them. Redick seems to manufacture points whether it be on the line or driving the lane. You'll think he'll be having an awful game, and you'll look up and see him have 20, and he stepped up his play in the ACC tournament as well. You could make an argument for Sean May or Shelden Williams, but I don't see a problem with Redick winning it at all.

OMG, dude, I hope you aren't comparing Redick to Larry Legend? Now you are talking about an ACE 3pt shooter who could pass and rebound. Redick will never be able to pass or rebound as good as Bird, period.

Redick may have about 1% of the basketball IQ that Bird did on the court.

 

Im a Die Hard Tar Heel fan and I believe JJ was the POY. I hate him but he's damn good

same here. good college player, came up money in some big wins for the blue devils this year. when he's on, forget about it and he is a closer from the line late in the game. may is second, paul third.
