around 23 points a game gets the POY in my opinion. He dramatically improved his game from his sophomore year, and his defense is underrated. Congrats to J.J., hopefully he'll stay hot through the tournament.

You can walk into any gym in a 6'4" white boy who can bury 3's. i really don't know what's special about the guy. not top end athletic ability and he doesn't play D.

Yeah, right. So why don't some of these top notch coaches recruit these 6'4 white boys who can bury 3's? Because they're white boys? That's a pretty stupid statement. Any coach wants a decent player who can bury 3's. Redick is driving much better, the best free throw shooter in history, and he plays average defense. You must not watch many Duke games. He stays with his man most of the time. He also gets quite a few defensive rebounds, and he is money at the line the end of games. I guarantee any ACC coach would trade any 1 player for him this year.

Roy wouldn't trade Felton for him, whether he wanted to or not.

He has more 30+ games than May. May is POY IMO.

May did have a strong year. I think if he had been in a little better shape and been able to stay on the floor more he might have won. Reddick has been an iron man this year playing lots of minutes and he has basically carried Duke to a lot of wins. How many times did he score thirty or so and Duke won by five?

He can shoot the 3's good, but certainly not best in the ACC, great FT shooter. He does drive a lot more this year, but there have been many times that he drives and gets stuck in the lane and misses the shot or not a good pass. Assist to TO ratio supports this for a SG that doesn't handle the ball a lot other than catch and shoot. Sure he scores a lot of points, but I guess that's not as impressive when his overall FG% sucks.

I don't know,I just think SW and May both should be POY ahead of Redick. I think Redick and Paul should be fighting it out for third.

If he wanted to, why wouldn't he?

May wasn't on the floor because we have players to rotate so no one player gets tired, not because he was in bad shape. To say May wasn't in shape or if in better shape is a dumb statement, he did great this year, it's hard to get your minutes up when 3/4 of the games you are kicking your opponents ass and scrubs are playing.

Hell when dook was killing teams this year, Redick still had to play, because there was nobody to sub in much. All those minutes could be a major reason why Redick sucked ass the 2nd have against UNC and dook lost.
