is it just me, or do they change the damn format every year. 2-3-2, then 2-2-1-1-1. maybe its just me

Do they do a 2-2-1-1-1 with the NBA? That's what's confused me before.

The rain had to help the Red Sox.

Schilling threw in the bullpen tonight and did well.He very well may pitch monday night. This series is not close to being over yet.Boston has way too good of a team to just roll over.

Only if we get Schilling back in time for this series. If the series makes it to 7 games which will most likely be needed for the Sox to win it, the Yankees have 5 pitchers for 5 games all on normal rest. The Sox have 4 without Schilling meaning that in one of the games a guy most likely Arroyo will be going on short rest. That's why I think it makes sense to pitch Wakefield tommorow and have him come back on the short rest in a possible game 7. Of course all that won't mean shit if you don't win atleast 2 at Fenway.

Seems like the 2-3-2 is saved for the Finals and World Series. Boston-LA in the 80s made the NBA realize 22111 was too much travel.

I'm hoping for the best, but won't get excited til the third out of Boston's fourth win.
